We're soul excited to partner with Merlin the cofounder of Eis Cafe--a local ice cream & coffee food truck!
Eis (pronounced 'ice') is German for ice cream. Merlin has fond memories of visiting German ice cream parlours as a kid, with their large ornate and delicious dishes. He started Eis Cafe with his mother to bring that German ice cream culture to Arizona. The two immigrants to Arizona back in 1989. He grew up in Arizona, went to ASU, and spent the last decade in NYC working in marketing on Madison Ave. After returning to Arizona in 2020, he wanted to start his own business again, and found the opportunity in the ice cream and coffee food truck. Since its inception in the summer of 2021, they have served over 15,000 ice creams and coffees. They are currently booking for weddings, birthdays, school carnivals, and private events.
